1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a collection, making payment, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms are subject to change without prior notice, and the latest version will always be available on request or on our website.

2. Care and Treatment of Items
7 Star Dry Cleaners will always exercise the utmost care in the treatment of all items entrusted to us. Where clear cleaning instructions are unavailable, we will use processes that, in our professional opinion, are best suited to the nature of the items collected. Any item(s) without cleaning instructions are treated entirely at the owner’s risk.
We cannot assume responsibility for items with inherent weaknesses, defects, or stains that are not apparent prior to treatment. Whenever possible, a member of our experienced team will advise of any obvious risks before proceeding.
The customer acknowledges that there is an inherent risk in cleaning processes and that clothing or related items may occasionally become damaged or lost. While 7 Star Dry Cleaners will take every precaution to avoid such situations, we will work with the customer to resolve any issues that may arise.

3. Liability
If it is proven by an independent testing authority that 7 Star Dry Cleaners is at fault for damage, loss, or theft of an item, liability will be limited to a maximum of 10 times the treatment cost charged for the specific item(s), or the current market value less any depreciation and/or treatment costs incurred—whichever is lower. Liability will only be accepted in writing by 7 Star Dry Cleaners, and any compensation payable is at the company’s discretion.
We cannot accept liability for:
Items with pre-existing damage, inherent weaknesses, or defects.
Stains that cannot be removed despite professional treatment.
Damage caused by adhesives, dyes, or finishes used by manufacturers.
Age-related wear and tear on materials such as leather or suede.

4. Stain Treatment
While we use some of the most advanced cleaning methods available and have decades of experience, we cannot guarantee the removal of all stains. In some cases, stains may become more visible after treatment due to chemical reactions or interactions with dyes and fabrics.
Stain removal is undertaken on a “best results” basis only. We cannot accept responsibility for any damage caused during attempts to remove stains or improve the appearance of natural flaws.

5. Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for:
Ensuring all pockets are empty before handing over items.
Removing collar stiffeners, cufflinks, belts, or other accessories.
Informing us of any special requirements (e.g., delicate fabrics).
7 Star Dry Cleaners will not be held liable for loss or damage to personal items left inside garments.

6. Collection and Delivery
Collection and/or delivery to an alternative address may be subject to a trip charge if not agreed upon at the time of booking.
Items will only be returned once full payment has been received. If payment is not made upon delivery, storage charges may apply (see Section 8).

7. Turnaround Time
Our average turnaround time for most specialist items is 1–2 weeks. However, this may vary due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., equipment failure). Customers will be notified if additional time is required.

8. Uncollected Items
Items that remain unpaid for or undelivered after 30 days may incur storage charges of £10 per week. If items remain uncollected for more than 3 months despite reasonable efforts to contact the customer (via phone or email), they will be donated to charity without further notice.

9. Payment Terms
All invoices must be paid in full upon delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing. Failure to make payment may result in storage charges (see Section 8) or refusal of future service.
Prices include VAT unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time without prior notice.

10. Force Majeure
7 Star Dry Cleaners shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, equipment failure).

11. Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer or reject any item(s) for treatment at our discretion. There will be no charge for items we decline to clean.

12. Environmental Compliance
We adhere strictly to environmental regulations regarding the use and disposal of cleaning chemicals in compliance with UK law.
